We use your FC and CYA readings to calculate the optimal high-target level.
Checklist
- 1Verify filter flow and clean baskets/backwash if pressure is 20-25% over clean.
- 2Test FC/CYA and raise to high-target (roughly 12% of CYA) for 24 hours.
- 3Brush walls/floor and run pump continuously; vacuum to waste if debris is present.
- 4Add a small dose of DE to sand filters if flow supports it.
- 5Re-test after 24 hours. If water is still dull, proceed to SLAM.
